I bought two weaving kits in the hopes that I would learn to weave and make dishtowels. For a variety of reasons, that didn't work out. So, as an avid knitter I decided to try knitting with the 8/2 yarn that came in the kits and I am loving it! I am holding two strands together, doing the two color bee stitch, and am using a size 2 knitting needle. I am enjoying this so much that I just bought several cones in a variety of colors to add to my stash!!

I’m really looking forward to starting my next project. Clear instructions for a fairly new weaver and great choices.

I missed the January weave-along and asked about substituting one yarn color in the nightfall kit. I got very helpful suggestions and answers to questions, prompt delivery, beautiful looking yarn and a nice little gift in the box. Warping today!

The pattern is well written and easy to follow. The special notes about warping made it a breeze to keep track of the warp colors. Jodi was so nice to help me pick a different colorway that goes with our kitchen. Who says the rigid heddle isn’t good for weaving rugs?!? 🤣

I love 8/2 Tencel for weaving shawls. So soft and shiny. Will definitely by more in the future

After reading on the blog in greater detail did I see that the warp threads are doubled as well as the weft threads therefore rendering a sett of 10 epi and 10 ppi. I think it's more the tendency of 2/4/8/etc shaft weavers to sley 8/2 cotton individually and go for an 18 or 20 epi in plain weave. My apologies!

Hello. I just wanted to say that I love everything about my order. I love the quality of the cotton, the vibrancy, the pattern directions, the tape measure and the little pouches! I weave on an Ashford rigid heddle, 15" and I could perfectly adapt the directions. Thank you. Nancy

I'm really enjoying the projects, and the book is great. I have a lot of difficulty picking out yarns and colors.
